PLAY opens in Kwun Tong: Skiing, Snowboarding, Baseball and More!

We have the BEST news for mamas of kids aged 4 and up – a new 10,000sqft indoor sports centre, PLAY, has opened in Kwun Tong, and believe us, it’s going to be the new birthday party hotspot. Featuring two indoor dry ski slopes (one Maxxtrack slope with an adjustable angle and revolving speed of over 20km/hr and one stationary one for little ones and beginners), as well as batting lanes for practicing baseball and softball and a toss ball cage where kids can practice, it’s heaven for sports fans.

With a strong emphasis on getting the Hong Kong community excited about sports, and social responsibility, PLAY will be offering local schools highly reduced fees or even free lessons so that activities like skiing and snowboarding which are generally considered ‘elite’ in this part of the world, are available to everyone.

As well as being a great place for the kids to burn off some energy, there’s the PLAY Cafe, run in partnership with Zambra Cafe, where mama can sit and hang out with a cup of coffee and a magazine! There’s also a store featuring ski and snowear goodies for your next trip to the real mountains, which of course your kiddies will now be prepared for after their practicing time on the slopes of Hong Kong!

As well as the fab facilities, PLAY offers custom services, including training programmes for all levels, private themed parties for kids and even overseas ski trip arrangements. There’s also an 800 square-foot lounge where major baseball events will be screened via satellite, so you never need to miss your team’s games!
