From Friday 26 June to Sunday 28 June 2015 at the Grand Theatre, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong (CCOHK) will stage the world-premiere of Bug Symphony, The Orchestra-Theatre Spectacular. The show is set in a magical rainforest where popular comedy duo Scotty and Lulu encounter a life-sized bug ensemble conducted by a praying mantis. The highly innovative City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong transforms into the bug orchestra and will be joined on stage by a stunning cast of guest bugs who act, sing and dance.
Audience members with children can arrive 45 minutes prior to each show to enjoy a host of fabulous free pre-show activities. These include face painting, bug tattoos and an exhibition of real-life bugs from the rainforests of Chile and Madagascar by conservationist Goatee Toni.
The programme is performed in English with Chinese surtitles. Tickets are available at Urbtix.
