This is a gorgeous place to just hang out at the top of the floating Jumbo Kingdom in the Aberdeen typhoon shelter. It caters to the weekend brunch crowd and is particularly child-friendly with its large outdoor daybeds and loungers and board games galore. The menu is typical of the Café Deco group that runs it, with Asian and Western cuisine in their generous weekend buffet and plenty of seafood specialties.
Thumbs up for…
Great views, endless brunch promotions that sometimes include unlimited Bloody Marys, or even unlimited champagne. Excellent kid menu and a toyroom for tots when they get bored of sampan spotting. The little ones will love getting to the restaurant by ferry from the pier.
Thumbs down for…
Although a lot of it is now indoors, it can get very hot in summer. Can be packed on weekends and public holidays, which makes for fast, busy, mad service.
Stroller Access?
Yes. Even manoeuvring the stroller onto the ferry is pretty easy.
Highchairs?
20 of them, but it is still a good idea to book when you reserve your table.
Kids menu?
As to be expected with the usual international kid fare: pizza, burgers, hotdogs, mac n cheese and spaghetti with meatballs.
Price Range
Kids: $100-150.
